Our Story

Consulting Built on Observation, Not Formulas

We founded Chedi Axis around a single belief: that the most useful consulting work comes from listening carefully before recommending anything.

About Us

Who We Are

Chedi Axis was established by a group of senior practitioners who had spent years working within Thai and regional businesses — in procurement, organizational development, and corporate transactions. We noticed a recurring pattern: organizations facing genuine structural challenges were often sold broad consulting mandates that produced lengthy reports, but few usable outcomes.

We set out to build something different — a firm that operates on a tighter model. Defined engagements, clear deliverables, and a deliberate effort to transfer knowledge rather than create dependency. Our practice is based in Bangkok's Yan Nawa district, and we work across Thailand and the wider Southeast Asian region.

The name reflects our orientation: Chedi, the architectural pillar form found throughout the region, speaks to structure and purpose. Axis suggests a central point around which meaningful work can turn. Together, they describe the kind of consulting relationship we try to build — stable, focused, and oriented around what actually matters to the client.

Our Mission

To provide Thai and regional organizations with consulting work that is structured enough to be actionable, and grounded enough to reflect how businesses here actually operate.

Our Approach

Every engagement begins with listening. We invest time upfront understanding the context — not to delay, but because the quality of the work depends on it. We do not use off-the-shelf frameworks as substitutes for observation.

Our Commitment

We work within agreed scope and timelines, we handle confidential information with care, and we close every engagement with a handover that gives the client full ownership of the work produced.

The Team

The People Behind the Work

Our consulting team brings together backgrounds in procurement, organizational development, and corporate strategy — all with substantial in-market experience across Thailand and ASEAN.

Standards

How We Maintain Quality

Quality consulting is not a credential on a wall — it is a set of habits practiced consistently across every engagement.

Scoped Engagements

Every engagement begins with a written scope document that both parties agree on before any work starts. This removes ambiguity and protects the integrity of the work.

Confidentiality Protocols

NDA agreements are signed before any information is shared. Sensitive data is handled on secure, encrypted systems and never retained beyond the engagement period.

Evidence-Based Analysis

Recommendations are drawn from the data and conversations of the engagement, not from generic templates. We document our reasoning so clients can evaluate our logic.

Data Privacy Compliance

We operate in compliance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Personal data collected during engagements is handled according to applicable statutory requirements.

Structured Handover

Deliverables are presented in a formal handover session. We walk through each document, answer questions, and confirm the client has everything needed to act on the work independently.

Post-Engagement Check-In

A follow-up conversation 30–60 days after project close is included in every engagement — allowing us to address questions that arise during implementation without additional cost.

Expertise

Consulting Knowledge Built from Regional Practice

Chedi Axis draws on experience shaped within Thailand's commercial environment — an environment shaped by strong family-business traditions, deep supplier relationship norms, a management culture that values seniority and interpersonal trust, and organizational structures that often bridge Thai and international operational styles.

Our vendor rationalization work is informed by an understanding of how Thai procurement relationships function — the difference between formal contracts and informal obligations, and how supplier consolidation needs to be handled with awareness of those dynamics. Our management diagnostics are calibrated for the realities of how Thai organizations develop talent — including the specific challenges that arise when Western-trained leadership development models meet local organizational expectations.

Post-acquisition integration in the Thai context carries its own distinct challenges: regulatory frameworks, cultural alignment between acquirer and target, communication practices across different language registers, and the expectations of long-tenured staff who may have strong identity tied to the acquired company. Our integration practice has been designed with these conditions in mind.

This regional depth — combined with rigorous methodology — is what we bring to every engagement. We hold ourselves to clear professional standards, work within agreed timelines, and deliver outputs that reflect the full effort of the work done, not a summary of it.
